What I have wanted to see for a long time in Vienna is a FREE shopping guide to pick up that has special tips on the design scene, one created for both tourists and people living in Austria who are looking for something special: small and classy fashion and furniture shops, jewellery shops with brilliant and individual items, fun and colourful kids clothes and interesting total concepts in the lifestyle area – and all of this without the Sissi knick-knacks. It should be compact and neatly arranged, including all of the districts in Vienna having a high percentage of shops with a creative focus: districts 1-9, 16, 18 and 19. The shops are briefly described in German and English and presented on sectional maps of the city.
I was inspired to wander through the nooks and crannies of Vienna. And so I ran across unsuspected shops and got more and more recommendations for my next walks. The whole thing became increasingly exciting, and I felt the need to go public with my new discoveries.
No sooner said than done: GUIDED was born. With a creative concept that changes yearly, GUIDED is always up-to-date and attractive to customers.
Each corner has its own special attraction that is worthwhile discovering. Compact and neatly arranged, GUIDED fits into any bag, so that nothing can stop you from having a great time shopping.
For anyone who has been looking for GUIDED and hasn't found it, GUIDED is available at design fairs, the 60 shops represented, museums in the MuseumsQuartier, the tourist information centre in Albertinaplatz and design-oriented hotels.
Of course you can also order it from
Have fun exploring!
